Canon EOS series cameras busy locked up
My EOS80D has recently been crashing, locking up and showing 'Busy'. Sometimes power-cycling it solves the problem but often is does not.
I use the WiFi function to download images as the memory card door has a poor quality, faulty switch. I leave the WiFi function permanently enabled and if I try to use the camera at home, just within range of the WiFi router, it seems the camera spends an age trying to connect to the router and attempt to download images, during which time the camera does not respond to pressing any buttons at all.
The solution is to switch the camera off, switch it on again and quickly disable the WiFi functionality.
SOLVED! No more lockups!
