VLC Media keys only work when VLC is selected
After ditching iTunes and picking VLC [VideoLAN Media Player], I discovered a huge problem that almost made me drop VLC as my media player of choice.
My expensive Corsair keyboard has its dedicated media keys for control of mp3 music [play, stop, next track, previous track] in the same area. they are so handy and worked fine with iTunes. With VLC it was another story. They would only work when VLC was selected (when the program had 'focus'). If I was running another application, the media keys would not function.
